At Legacy Creative, our mission is to partner with Christian schools to make a Kingdom impact by creatively and authentically sharing their stories, strengthening their identity and expanding their reach. Through strategic marketing, branding, design, and consulting solutions, we help schools establish a lasting legacy – one that reflects their mission, engages their community, and inspires Kingdom growth.

Drawing from our own experiences in Christian schools and over 15 years of nationally recognized school marketing expertise, we are genuinely eager to share our knowledge with fellow schools. Our goal is to support school leaders by removing operational and marketing burdens and providing custom, scalable solutions so they can focus on educating students in the light of God’s truths.

Our History

Legacy Creative was founded by two former co-workers of a nationally ranked Christian school’s marketing department. With a shared passion for helping Christian schools and mission-driven organizations thrive through effective marketing and communication and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities, we set out to establish a company that could come alongside schools and empower them to build a strong legacy.

Drawing on our years of experience in the field, we launched Legacy Creative to provide affordable and personalized marketing solutions tailored to the unique needs of Christian schools.

We now work with schools across the country, building lasting relationships and providing trusted support for marketing, strategy, graphic design, capital campaigns, websites, branding, social, and more!

Legacy Leadership

Co-Founder

Bryan Winfrey

Prior to co-founding Legacy Creative, Bryan established the marketing and communications department at an Arizona Christian school. In the decade that followed, the school grew from a high school to a K-12 on multiple campuses and saw a 300%+ increase in enrollment. Prior to that role, he served in various roles in higher and K-8 education.

Bryan is an active member of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) and has held membership in the Arizona School Public Relations Association and the Arizona Public Information Officers. In 2021, he was named one of the 35 under 35 school communications leaders in the U.S. and recognized as an emerging school public relations leader by the NSPRA.

Bryan earned his undergrad degree from Arizona State University and a Master’s from Concordia University Irvine.

Bryan and his wife, Elyse, live in Arizona with their four children. Outside of work, he serves on several education and ministry committees. He enjoys history, museums, attending sporting events, and anything that involves his family.

Jenna Haagsma

Jenna has spent most of her career working in various marketing roles for schools, churches, and non-profits. Her passion for design developed while studying at Dordt University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.

With knowledge in graphic design, website design, email creation, and more, Jenna adds unique skills to Legacy Creative's clients. Her expertise in design and branding has helped schools and non-profits effectively communicate their missions and connect with their audiences.

Jenna and her husband, Brandon, have two daughters. They currently reside in Iowa, where Jenna was born and raised. Previously, they lived in Arizona for four years where she served at two different Christian schools in the Valley. One of them in which she worked with Bryan.

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys playing volleyball, pickleball, and taking her dog on walks on the trails near her home with family. She also has a passion for gardening, interior design, and often spends her free time on DIY projects around the home.

School Relations & Senior Consultant

Scott Timmer

Scott Timmer brings decades of experience in Christian education and leadership to his role as Senior Consultant at Legacy Creative. Scott has demonstrated a passion for fostering excellence in Christian schools. He has led school accreditation teams, developed curriculum, and taught courses.

A celebrated coach, Scott is one of the winningest girls' basketball coaches in Arizona history, with over 500 wins and three state championships to his name. Beyond the court, he has served on numerous Christian school boards, as a church elder, and as a featured speaker at ACSI conventions.

At Legacy Creative, Scott supports schools by strengthening relationships, providing expert consulting, and helping institutions align their missions with impactful strategies for growth.

Outside of his professional work, Scott enjoys fishing, camping, playing board games, and hosting gatherings. He has been happily married to Julie for over 30 years, and together they are proud parents of four Christian school graduates.
