Legacy Creative is honored to announce that its promotional video for Community Lutheran School has been awarded a Silver Telly in the 47th Annual Telly Awards.

The Telly Awards have honored excellence in video and television since 1979, drawing over 13,000 entries each year from around the world. Entries are judged by an industry council of more than 250 leaders from organizations including Netflix, HBO, Adobe, BBC, and Meta — making the Tellys one of the most competitive and respected recognitions in the industry.

This year’s Silver Award winners in the Educational Institution category include Texas A&M, Georgetown, and Penn State — institutions with massive budgets and entire marketing departments behind their video production. And right there alongside them is Community Lutheran School, a small, Christ-centered school in rural Iowa whose story resonated on a national stage.

That’s not a coincidence. That’s the power of an authentic story, well told.

The video captured the heart of what makes Community Lutheran special — the faith, the community, and the Christ-centered mission that drives everything the school does. From Pastor Miguel to the staff and families who make CLS what it is, the authentic passion that came through on screen is exactly what the judges recognized.
